The Vibration of Peace
What if a system could be
developed that measured the energy of various emotions shame
or guilt or fear or anger or acceptance or love or joy or peace?
How valuable would this be in shifting us from undesirable emotional
patterns, into patterns that we desire. Mother Teresa wrote, '
spread
joy, love and compassion
..The fruit of these three is peace.'
David Hawkins, M.D., Ph.D.
over a period of 20 years compiled such intensive research involving
thousands of subjects and millions of calibrations. In his book,
'Power vs. Force', he details how the research was gathered, and
what the outcomes are of its application. Dr. Hawkins says that
we are, after all, a part of the universe 'in which everything
is connected to everything else.' Awareness of the vibrational
energy of various emotions, holds the key to releasing what we
dont want, and replacing it with what we desire.
According to Dr. Hawkins,
shame carries an energy level of 20, fear of 100, anger of 150,
and pride of 175. Conversely the energy level of courage is 200,
love is 500, joy is 540, and peace is 600. All levels below 200
are considered destructive to the individual and to society (since
we are connected to everything else.) All levels above 200, courage,
however, are constructive and beneficial to society.
At all levels below 200,
the individual feels disempowered. If you have ever felt ashamed,
guilty, afraid, or angry, you understand this principle. The dividing
line where everything shifts is courage at 200. Courage is the
first level of empowerment. With courage, the individual takes
responsibility for what has gone on in his/her life, and begins
to try new things. He/she sees life as exciting, challenging and
stimulating. Courage carries with it the tools to neutralize the
lower emotions below it, and to transcend to the higher vibrations
of acceptance, joy, love, and peace.
Gandhi said, 'We must be
the world we want to create'. If we desire to live in a world
of peace, we must first be peace. The Bible says that everything
in the world is twice created. What does this mean? Everything
is first created in our mind as an idea, and then brought into
reality around us. So in order to be peace, we must first decide
that we want to be peace, then look at ways in which we can bring
peace to ourselves. This may be done by making some changes in
our livescreating a new task or activity, or getting rid
of something in our lives that is not peaceful.
May the spirit of peace
be with you on your journey,
Pamela

Story
of the Month:
Edward Lorenz was a mathematician
and meteorologist at MIT who loved to study weather. In 1961 Lorenz
used a computer to construct a mathematical model of weather conditions.
In a paper given to the New York Academy of Sciences in 1963,
Lorenz reported, 'If the theory were correct, one flap of a seagulls
wings would be enough to alter the course of the weather forever.'
In 1972 at a meeting of the American Association for the Advancement
of Science in Washington, he gave a talk entitled, 'Predictability:
Does the Flap of a Butterflys Wings in Brazil set off a
Tornado in Texas?' If the flap of a butterflys wing can
have a powerful ripple effect on our planet, how much power does
each of us hold in affecting changes in our world.
Peace
Tip of the Month:
Decide TODAY on one thing
that you can change in your life to create more peace. It could
be eliminating some activity that does not make you happy. It
could be adding some quiet time for yourself to just be. It could
be finding a way to express more of your creativity. It could
be about finding ways to have more fun. Whatever it is that will
give you more peace, make it a part of your life today.

FINDING
YOUR PERSONAL PEACE
In each issue we will be
recommending several other projects for finding your personal
peace that we feel are worthy of your attention. Please take the
time to visit them.
Project Prosperity - http://www.projectprosperity.org
Founded by Elyse Hope Killoran, the mission of Project
Prosperity is well-aligned with the promotion of peace. Once a
critical mass of people are clear that there is enough to
go around, conflicts over land, power and resources will
become a thing of the past.
Beginning on Monday, January
13, hundreds of people from all over the globe will be embarking
on a three week virtual spending spree with clear
instructions on how to use the experience to activate their own
ability to create prosperity from the inside-out.
It is an enlightening experience and lots of fun. Registration
in the project is free.
